Revolt of the craft corner

After a VERY long day of Keeley only wanting mommy, and screaming if I wasn't rubbing his tummy (poor little guy's got a tummy bug). We headed to Target to pick up socks (for babylegs) microfiber(diaper inserts) and Joann's for some suedecloth and stuffing, thinking the long 40 minute trip would get him to sleep.....Oh how wrong we were! We ended up only picking up microfiber, spending the rest of our money on tummy medicine and quickly leaving town before stopping at Joann's for anything. Determined to at least get something, after finally getting Keeley to sleep (thank God for gripe water), done I headed over to my "office"  to put together a new prototype diaper, I searched and searched for some soft spare material to use on the inside of the diaper for my baby boy's bum and finally settled on a nice microfleece winter night gown that was beyond hideous but had a good print. I measured it all out and traced everything near to perfectly, that is when my trouble began..... My handy dandy marker decided not to be too handy, and I ended up marking more of myself than the material. Then, after cutting everything I realized that the serging on the microfleece was coming off so to the sewing machine I went! This is when Domino, my sewing machine, (yes I am so geeky that I have named my machine) decided to poop out. The thing is barely a week old and is now refusing to catch the bottom thread, I spent an hour hunched over my desk trying to get a good catch on the stupid thing. The ironic part is, it caught perfectly when there was no material on it to sew! So after the longest day and the most challenging day I've had in months, I have decided to call it a night. My husband when I told him it was my turn on the computer
